The Rx.com Mod Team has created this Service Play sub-forum in order to supply an area for Rx Service Play Posters to expand upon their posting topics without creating a logjam in the main forum where the three principle threads are maintained..

Posters can track services here if they care to but we will need any trackers to do so in an accurate and civil manner. We did not create this area for posters to ridicule or bash any services..

You can also discuss who is hot and who is not. The general state of the pay for plays industry and any other subject or topic related to service plays.

You can also create individual threads about specific services and discuss them freely but civilly. Again bashing and abusive treatment of any services will not be tolerated.

Please remember, this forum is not here for regular posters who cap their own games to post ther daily plays. Please use our individual sport forums to post your plays. Professional cappers (those that sell plays) must remain in the Site Promotion Forum.

The Rx.com will not tolerate posters that post false records of any services they track. Please be truthful if you decide to track a particular service.

Lastly The Rx Moderators are appealing to you our everyday posters to report any promotional threads or posts that are made by services or individual touts. No links or contact information to an individual service will be allowed. Just the name of the service. Please report any threads or posts that are promotional attempts by services and touts to use this forum to promote themselves..

Posters can easily report a promotional post by using the triangular Report-a-Post Icon at the bottom left of all post boxes. The poster name of any poster who reports a post that is out of line will be kept strictly confidential.

I will leave this thread open for a month to take questions and do my best to answer them. I will check in daily but am off on Wednesday and Thursday.

I hope this additional Service Play Forum will satisfy those posters that would like to widen the scope of topics relating to service plays and the industry in general to have their own threads. Mods will be liberal as possible regarding topics but this forum was specifically created to allow you more freedom to express your ideas regarding service plays and related subject matter. No off topic threads will be allowed.

Thank you, wilheim

Wednesday's Best NCAAB Bet

Miami Hurricanes at Alabama Crimson Tide (-5.5, 130)

The Hurricanes and Tide square off for a chance to take part in the NIT semifinals at Madison Square Garden in a match that pits Miami’s hot offense against Alabama’s tight defense.

Miami has put up at least 80 points in its first two wins of the tourney and rebounded after a slow start to down Missouri State 81-72 as a 5-point favorite on Monday.

Durand Scott, who averages 13.5 points this season, put up 20 points in the win after dropping 19 points in the team’s opening win over Florida Atlantic.

"We're a young team," UM coach Frank Haith told reporters "This team knows we're going to be together next year. We want to play in the NCAA Tournament. These games are important in getting some growth towards that."

Alabama represents a tough test here, but Miami’s scoring should be able to least keep the Hurricanes close in the fourth quarter.

Wednesday's Best NBA Bet

Orlando Magic at New York Knicks (+1.5, 202.5)

The Knicks have struggled since going through their honeymoon phase with Carmelo Anthony, though after some interesting comments about “waiting for next year” earlier this week, Anthony has changed his tune.

Now ‘Melo thinks his club can turn it around in the playoffs even though the club has dropped six of its last seven both straight up and against the spread.

"I believe, we believe that something will get turned around quickly," Anthony told reporters. "We have a little bit under a month to get this thing right to get ready for the playoffs. And right now, we're just figuring it out on the go. As long as we figure it out by the time the playoffs come, I'm not really too concerned about what's going on right now and how it's going on.”

Still, that’s not exactly the kind of reassurance Knicks bettors are looking for at the moment. Meanwhile, the Magic have won three straight but have covered only once in the last nine games so it’s a tricky line here.

Until the Knicks show some signs of turning it around, we have to side with the Magic in this spot.

Wednesday's Best NHL Bets

Anaheim Ducks at Dallas Stars (-140, 5.5)

The Ducks and Stars head into this game in a three-way tie with Calgary for the last playoff spot in the Western Conference, so the postseason implications here are pretty obvious.

Anaheim is the hottest of the three teams, having lost just twice over the last 10 games. Corey Perry scored twice, including the game winning marker in overtime as the Ducks earned a huge 5-4 victory over Calgary on Sunday.

The club also scored twice on three power-play chances, snapping a cold spell that had saw the unit click on only five of its last 49 opportunities before that.

"We have been practicing a lot," Teemu Selanne told reporters of the team’s power play. "We know the power play hasn't been that good lately. Getting a couple of goals is a good confidence boost going on the road. The PP can win a lot of games."

The Stars have been pretty good on the penalty kill lately but they’re also a little banged up in this one. It’s hard to pass on a hot Anaheim club at this price.

PICK: Ducks

Calgary Flames at San Jose Sharks (-180, 5.5)

While the New Jersey Devils have gotten most of the spotlight for their amazing in the second half, the San Jose Sharks have been nearly as impressive.

San Jose is 21-4-3 in its last 28 games, moving into top spot in the Pacific Division. The Sharks look in good shape but they still have to be wary of the streaking Coyotes and the Los Angeles Kings.

"You look at that three through eight and that can really change the next two weeks," forward Dany Heatley told the Sharks' official website. "You want to have the highest seed as possible obviously for home ice and things like that. These last nine games are going to mean a lot."

Heatley will be back in the lineup against Calgary after serving a two-game suspension for elbowing Dallas’ Steve Ott, though Rookie of the Year candidate Logan Couture is questionable with a knee injury.

We expect to see some goals in this one.

Wednesday's Betting Tips: Fade Spurs Without Duncan?

Who's Hot

NBA: The over has taken the cash in 10 of Charlotte’s last 12 home games.

NBA: The 76ers have covered in each of their last four matchups with the Atlanta Hawks.

NBA: Memphis has covered in each of its last 10 trips to Boston.

NHL: Vancouver has won 20 of its last 28 road games.

NCAAB: The under is 9-3 in Central Florida’s last 12 contests.

Who’s Not

NBA: New Jersey is just 7-19 against the spread in the team’s last 26 road games.

NBA: Miami has covered just four times over the last 13 games.

NHL: Florida has won just four times in its last 14 games.

NHL: The under has cashed in only eight times over Calgary’s last 30 games.

NCAAB: Boise State is just 7-15 against the spread in its last 22.

Key Stat

6 – The San Antonio Spurs allow six more points per 100 possessions when Tim Duncan isn’t on the floor. The 34-year-old big man is expected to be out of action for the next two or three weeks after spraining his ankle on Monday. The Spurs, who are 3-5 ATS in their last eight games, sit in the middle of the pack allowing a little more than 97 points per game and their defense will likely take a hit without Duncan’s presence in the paint.

Injury That Shouldn’t Be Overlooked

Rudy Gay, Memphis Grizzlies: The Grizzlies will have to get by without the services of 24-year-old forward Rudy Gay for the remainder of the season. Gay sought a second opinion on his injured left shoulder and received nothing but bad news - he's now scheduled to undergo season-ending surgery. Gay finished the year scoring 19.8 points per game while adding 6.2 rebounds and 2.8 assists per contest.

Game Of The Day

San Antonio Spurs at Denver Nuggets (-3.5, 210.5)

Notable Quotable

"You can't move, can't change speeds (or) be as aggressive as you want to, especially driving to the cup. It's a sharp pain that I can't really deal with. I've got to find a way to get it well enough to play Wednesday. It’s a big game.” – Charlotte Bobcats leading scorer Stephen Jackson about trying to tough it out with his hamstring injury. Jackson is putting up 18.9 points per game as the Bobcats get set to host the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday.

Tips And Notes

The Miami Hurricanes top scorers Malcom Grant and Durand Scott are both looking to get their club to the NIT semifinals in New York with a win over Alabama on Wednesday. Grant and Scott have some extra motivation as both hail from the Big Apple, so expect them to step up against the Tide’s tough defense. Grant leads the team with 15 points per game while Scott is averaging almost 20 points over the club’s last two games.

The Philadelphia 76ers have finally caught a break with their schedule. After the club played four games over five days to finish off a West Coast road trip, the 76ers have spent the last couple of days getting used to East Coast time and getting ready for Wednesday’s date with the Atlanta Hawks. The time off has been huge for Andre Iguodala, who sat out Saturday’s game with knee tendinitis but expects to play Wednesday. The 76ers are currently listed as a 6-point favorite.

The Vancouver Canucks are just about locked into the top spot in the Western Conference so don’t be surprised if they use the stretch run to rest some of their regulars down the stretch, especially now that they know center Manny Malhotra won’t play again this season after suffering a gruesome eye injury. Mikael Samuelsson will sit out Wednesday’s game against the Red Wings with an undisclosed ailment though Detroit may also be without Pavel Datsyuk, Jiri Hudler, Johan Franzen and Todd Bertuzzi again, so depth will come into play for both teams.

Wichita State made 20-46 from arc in winning first two NIT games, with Shockers scoring 76-79 points; problem is, Wichita has played better on road this year than at home. Wichita is 3-5 vs spread in last eight games as a favorite.

Alabama won four of last five games, losing to Kentucky in SEC semis; Crimson Tide is 7-1-1 in last nine games as a favorite. SEC home favorites of 6 or less points are 8-6 vs spread. ACC road underdogs of 5 or less points are 8-5.
